Wynand grew up in Cape Town and studied law at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained the degrees BA (Law) and LLB. He also completed a Certificate in Deceased Estate Practice at Unisa in Pretoria. After two years of compulsory military service, he completed his articles at Walkers Inc in Cape Town and has been practising law since 1 September 1991. After practicing as a general litigation attorney for a period of 6 years, Wynand started to focus on Estate and Trust Law and has been specialising in this field since 1 September 1997. He has comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in, estate planning, drafting of Wills, administration of deceased estates and trusts and being appointed as a curator bonis. He joined the Brand & Robberts team in October 2019.

Wynand is a devoted family man and loves spending time with his wife and two children and is passionate about sport and healthy living.
